Over the Alpine Pass to Greymouth

Today we’re up early to catch the train in Christchurch going through the Alpine Pass to Greymouth.

All aboard!  The trip will take approximately 5 hours.











Here we are at Arthur’s Pass.  Quite a few people get off here but we will be continuing to Greymouth.

As we walk into town from our motel we pass this very pretty park.

After having dinner at the brewery down the street we head back to our motel.  Tomorrow we head south.
