Along the way we stop at a beautiful beach called Cable Bay Park. It’s absolutely stunning.
As we near Cape Reinga we pull off into a view point. Here you can see the sand dunes which are the start of 90 mile beach. The water is a beautiful shade of blue.
We spot the lighthouse so start our walk down to the furthest tip.
This turbulent point is the meeting point of the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean.
The sand dunes at the end off 90 Mile Beach. We both wanted to climb them but they were huge. People were sand boarding which looked like fun. What a great way to exfoliate!
Lovely falls on our way back to Paihia.
We stop at a restaurant in Paihia where they have a robot server. I’ve never seen one of these. He’s just delivered the meals to a table!
