Off to Te Anau

It’s a pretty nice day considering the forecast was for rain.  We get an early start from Wanaka heading first to Queenstown.

The landscape is beautiful, the roads winding but not much traffic.

We get to our motel which is quite nice.  Close to the lake and town.  There are several campers here.  Great spot for them

After reading about a short movie about Fiordland we head off to the local cinema.  The cinema is partnered with the Black Dog Bar so you can pick up your favourite beverage and head to the movie.  The contents of the movie is awesome.  Filmed by helicopter you see sights you would never be able to see otherwise.  This is a World Heritage site.  Tomorrow we are headed to Milford Sound for a two hour cruise up the sound.
