Frankfurt

Arrived in Frankfurt and met Mary at the airport.  After a few inquiries we found the S Bahn (train) in to the city.

Arrived at the Hauptbahnhof (train station) and took a taxi to the hotel.  Beautiful day out.

Staying at the Hampton which we were very pleased with.

We decide to take the Hop On Hop Off bus the following day (Saturday). We’re practicing taking selfies!

The Main river is the river running through Frankfurt.  It is a tributary of the Rhine.

Locks on the bridge. Seems that all large cities has this.

Cappuccino and apple kuchen at one of the many outdoor cafes in the square.

And then at 6 pm we make our way to this restaurant to meet the group from Diverbo and have dinner.  We will be spending the next week with this group practicing English with German students.

We are the first to arrive and we will be sitting out on the patio with our group. Tomorrow we’re off to Laubach.
