Heraklion

Today we are driving to Heraklion where we will stay for two nights at the Castello Hotel. Heraklion is a large city and quite overwhelming to drive in.  We are trying to find our hotel and know we are close but our GPS keeps saying turn right when that is not allowed.  Finally I pull over and ask someone and he points to the hotel not half a block away!  Thank heaven.  Weather is looking good!

As we are checking in to our hotel who walks in to the lobby but Meeka from our four day tour that ended yesterday.  She is staying at the same hotel for a couple of days.  What are the chances!  We arrange to meet later for dinner and then take taxi to see the Knossos Palace.
