Swan Valley

Driving around Swan Valley where our housesit is located we stop at a cheese place.  There are so many wineries in this area.  Unfortunately I don’t dare sip and drive so we sample the wines once we’re home for the evening.

Lovely property with great cheeses.

And then there’s the chocolate!!!

Fantastic cars parked at the chocolate place.  I think it was members of a club.

We drive down to East Guildford and park the car.  We hop the train here to go to Perth and Fremantle then we don’t have to pay parking and less stress.

This was a lovely place for lunch.  East Guildford is a heritage suburb or Perth.  Great history and lovely old buildings.

The outdoor restaurant at the Rose & Crown.

In the cellar of the Rose & Crown is fixed up and it shows where the barrels of ale were originally brought in by boat from Perth up the Swan River to East Guildford.

The front desk of the Rose & Crown...all restored to the period.

Then we went to the Visitor Information office.  Got some information on the Pinnacles which is about a three hour drive north of Perth.  We’ll head there tomorrow.
