Leaving downtown Auckland
Windy day...great for sailing.
Arriving Devonport...lovely suburb only a 15 minute ferry ride.
The Main Street...some gorgeous old buildings.
The library...gorgeous carving.
This building was originally the Bank of New Zealand built in 1925.
This theatre is the oldest cinema building still standing in the Southern Hemisphere. Built in 1912 and still operating.
Walking along the ocean walk towards the Naval Museum.
These trees are amazing. Looks like giant brooms hanging down from the branches.
The Navy Museum is housed in a nineteenth century submarine mining station.
