Off to Margaret River

Today we finish our first housesit so after bidding adieu to Scrappy we drive south.

This is the area we are exploring.

Our first stop is Mandurah which has the most beautiful beaches.

A stop for coffee..

After leaving Mandurah we were told to stop and see the Thrombolites..and we said what the heck are thrombolites?

And here they are!  What a strange sight!

And here’s the explanation.

We arrive in Bunbury.  After getting tons of information at the Visitor’s Information Office we go for lunch/supper down at the water.
Caesar salad with grilled lamb...yum!

We walk through town to view the murals.  This is something Bunbury is known for.  Absolutely amazing!

This is an apartment building that was made from 3 silos.  They cut out windows, put in some floors and there you have it!

Marlston Hill lookout.

Ahhh...the views...and we didn’t even climb to the top.

More murals.  Wow!

And now we’re off to Busselton where we’ll check in for two nights.
