Labrador

This morning we board the ferry from St. Barbe to cross the Strait of Belle Isle for Labrador.  Our ferry leaves at 10:30.

We see an iceberg off the coast.  Hope to see more close up.

Red Bay National Historic Site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  The Basques had a whaling station in the 16th century.  The Basques were the earliest European visitors arriving in the 16th century mainly from France and Spain.
