Housesit with a view!

Just had to share this beautiful yard.  I am currently housesitting at one of my favourite places.  This property is in east Vancouver and the garden is gorgeous!

I just love to wander through.

Even the boulevard is beautiful!

Off to Victoria

This weekend I decided to visit my friend Bev over on Vancouver Island.  Hopped the ferry on Friday afternoon.

Weather was great...so warm for May...little windy thus the 'mohawk' hairdo!

Met Bev in Sydney at the Haro restaurant where we sat outside on the patio enjoying the view.

Bev and I decide to drive to Sooke to see the Sooke Potholes.  We had a great brunch at the Shine Cafe and then stopped at the waterfalls.

The water is so clear.  Perfect swimming when the weather warms up.

Then we headed back to Victoria for pizza and wine.  Perfect ending to a perfect day.

Minding Jamie

On Wednesday's I look after my sweet grandson, Jameson.  He turned two at the end of March and he's such a joy.

He loves playing on the deck of my apartment and just down the road there is a playground that we visit.  It does tucker him out! (Nana too!)

Then one day we got all three grandsons together for lunch!

Here's Landon, Jamie and Harper...frozen smoothies....mmmmmm....good!
