Not Octoberfest!

This is not an optical illusion and no I am not in Germany at the Octoberfest!  After a thoroughly enjoyable day at the Carnival Parade in Nice we went for "a cold one".  Met a great lady (fellow Canadian) who happened to be by herself and sat next to me in the stands and we decided to treat ourselves to a cold beer.  Veronica is from Ottawa and a lot of fun.  She is a teacher who is travelling for a year.  She will be in Nice for 3 months and has just arrived from Africa.  She teaches French so is fluent in the language so when she ordered 'des grandes bieres' who was I to argue! 

I could barely pick it up! 

This is Veronica and the waiter after we managed to finish our beers.....wasn't that hard however making our way home after was!  Great time.
