The Great Ocean Road

We head out on the Great Ocean Road.

The Great Ocean Road was built at the end of WWII and is 243 km in length.

Next stop is the Twelve Apostles.
We couldn’t count 12 Apostles.  They are deteriorating over time.

Down the coast facing the other direction.

We then go to the Thirteenth Apostle Hostel where most will be staying in one large dormitory.

We’re staying across the road.  Pretty basic room but at least there’s just the two of us and we have our own bathroom.

Ann from New Jersey joins us for a cold one before dinner and then we’re heading back to the Twelve Apostles for sunset.
Some of the group enjoying sunset at the Apostles.

View in the other direction.
