Coming in to Canberra. It’s very windy. Lots of turbulence.
Marlene and I fooling around with this weird photo op in the airport.
We take taxi to our hotel. Lovely old hotel. Very comfortable.
Canberra is not very large and our hotel is just across the bridge from downtown.
We head off to walk to the Canadian High Commission and pass Parliament Hill on the way.
Bumped into these two silent types on our way.
It was only a 25 minute walk and then we’re there. We met with Dennis who had Marlene’s emergency passport all ready.
I’m starving so we stop for burger and beer. Definitely hit the spot.
