Off to Adelaide

We leave Ayers Rock in the afternoon and have a short 2 hour flight to Adelaide

The red earth of the outback.

Coming into Adelaide.

Our hotel.

Very comfortable hotel, great location.

A few doors down is The Bakery.  Open 24/7 and what a find.  Great food.  It’s always packed.

The next morning we walk to the downtown area.  Beautiful parks surround the city.  It’s very walkable and the weather is beautiful. No flies!

There are some really interesting buildings.

St. Peter’s Cathedral

The Fringe Festival is on and there’s so much to see and do.

This is a giant dollhouse that you can actually walk through.  The lineup was huge...so many kids wanting to walk through.

This is a pedestrian only shopping street (Rundle Street) and there are several entertainers.

An old Citroen.

Lots of restaurants and cafes.
