Touring Kraków

Today we start with a trip to Schindler's Factory.  As per the movie Schindler's List this factory really did exist.  Being here and seeing these things is making it all very real.

Photos of the actual employees.  These people were saved by Schindler.
We then tour what used to be the Jewish ghetto.  This area has been revitalized and is now a tourist hub.  As you can see the weather is not so nice.  The rain has arrived which considering what we are seeing suits the mood.  It is hard to believe what the people went through during World War II.

An original wall dating back to 1600.
The castle which is a prominent site close to our hotel.
This is actually a photo of a painting of the town since I could not capture it with my camera.  Perhaps if I went up in that hot air balloon ? but that's not going to happen!
One of the gates on the castle wall.
Road leading to the main square.  Lots of restaurants.

The main square.  Not a great day for pictures.
