Budapest

The next day we head out for Budapest (pronounced Budapesht).  The weather is improving and so are our spirits.  The history of Warsaw and Kraków is interesting however depressing.  They have had such hard times and they are very strong and resilient.  They have come back from being crushed.
The countryside is beautiful.
We stop to visit this 400 year old church.  It's beautiful.

This church is so beautifully decorated and the artwork is so well preserved.  They say that due to a steady cool climate and not much sunshine in the church it has helped to preserve this artwork.
Beautiful.
Countryside behind the church.
Then in to Slovakia.
Hilltop castle.
Beautiful rolling hills.  We have come through the Carpathian Mountains.
We stop for lunch.  This is a ski area.
And finally arrive in beautiful Budapest, Hungary.   Gorgeous!
