When we arrived in Budapest there was a choice of a tour for a traditional dinner and dance which we had declined. Marlene and I decide to explore a little and find somewhere to eat.
This is called the Chain Bridge. We walk over to the other side. It's a beautiful evening.
We're staying at the Intercontinental which is a great hotel in a great location.

The next day I take the vehicular up to what was once the palace.

Hungarian goulash for lunch...Hungary does not allow any GMO products...very healthy food, organic.
These are beer party wagons....you sit and pedal while drinking beer...there is a designated driver that steers it...very popular for stag and stagette parties...
We ran in to one such fellow...he was getting married in 15 days and had just disembarked from the beer party wagon...I'm joined by Debbie who is from Nevada.
The Art Gallery. We were told that they finally had received funding to do repairs from the last war! Nothing moves quickly.
This is an example of a car that was available during Communist times. You would place an order and it would take seven years before you received your car!
Check out the roof....very colourful and unique to this area.
