We have the afternoon to wait so we walk the boardwalk along the water.
The giant fiddle. This is the cruise ship port and shopping area down on the water.

We meet Paul, our Tour Director and Randy our driver.
We proceed to the Marine Atlantic ferry. This is an overnight ferry that leaves at 11 pm. We have a cabin which is wonderful so we quickly settle in and then we’re up at 6:30 am to disembark in Port aux Basques, Newfoundland.
We have breakfast in Channel-Port aux Basques before heading up island.

We pass by Marble Mountain Ski Resort. Everything is so green.
We enter Gros Morne National Park. We will return to the park later for more exploring.
