Day trip to Faro

Even though we are perfectly content to spend our days swimming, eating, walking and shopping we feel we need to explore the Algarve.

On the slow train to Faro.  It takes almost 2 hours.

It’s Sunday but seems almost deserted.

Looks like some sort of sailing competition.

Storks nesting on the roof.  Huge nests.

We finally wander into a much more busy part of Faro with lots of shops and restaurants.  We stop for gelato and then head back “home” to Lagos.
