We figure out the train and metro. Bought our train tickets to Lagos as we leave in a couple of days.
We decide to go to Obidos. A hilltop walled city. It took approximately an hour by bus.
Lots of interesting shops.
St. Mary’s Square. Built during the 16 th century by order of Queen Catarina of Austria. The church was built in the 12th century.
We stopped for a wonderful lunch. Always searching for a good salad. There is egg and tuna on about everything.
A young woman playing the violin adds to the ambiance.
We decide to walk the walls. Stairs leading up. No railings!
It’s a long way down.
They were putting on a skit.
On the ride back to Lisbon we see lots of windmills.
