The flight is just over an hour and everything goes like clockwork. When we arrive at the airport we purchase tickets on Alliguna water taxi (15€) and it takes about 30 minutes to get to Lido. It's very scenic.
We then walk to our hotel, the Hotel Villa Mabapa which takes about 10 mins. but it's hot out.
So glad to arrive. It's beautiful!
After quickly unpacking we go to the garden and order a bottle of the house white wine.
It goes down extremely well. We then move in to the dining room where we enjoy a wonderful dinner. I had pasta with a lobster sauce and Sue had sea bass. We shared so we got to enjoy both dishes. For dessert again we shared tiramisu and cheesecake. Yum!
