Thanksgiving in Calgary

I caught a Flair flight on Thursday evening to Calgary.  The flight was delayed and I finally arrived at Teeny and Mike’s by Uber around midnight.  The kids stayed home on Friday and we spent the day hanging out.

 

We took bus to the Chinook Mall.  It took us two hours.  Don’t think we’ll try that again.  Calgary is really meant for driving not public transit.  We were all exhausted.  We went out for dinner which was really good.

On Saturday we went to Jamie’s basketball game.  He’s a good player.  We then went to Autumn Fall days in Auburn.  Games for the kids, wagon rides and treats.

Sunday we prepared Thanksgiving dinner.  Teeny’s sister Kelly and Brandon came over with their children Oliver and CC.

It was 20 degrees out so perfect for dinner on the deck.

On Monday we went for a lovely walk at a park.  Beautiful day.

On the way to the airport we stop at the Auburn Lake for the boys to play then off to the airport and home.

Decorations are up at Paul and Kiara’s.  Arrived home just in time for a glass of wine and dessert.  Don, Belinda, Alannah, Suzy and Richard were there.  Thanksgiving was great!
