First full day in Delhi

We have the day to do what we'd like so Cathryn, Leanne, Diana, Alanna and myself rent a car and driver for the day.  Diana has been to India several times so is savvy at knowing what to do.  We decide to go to Ghandi's home.  This was also the place where he was murdered.

Here we are with our driver.

 What an amazing man!

After touring Ghandi's home we meet up with our driver who takes us around.
 The Delhi gate

Then after a quick lunch we head to Lodi Garden for some peace and greenery.

This group of women were enjoying themselves in the park...they invited us to join them, shared their food and showed us a game they were playing.  Very friendly!

Lots of tombs in this park.  Very old and interesting.

This made for a great photo shoot for this couple.

 Lots of color.

At 6 pm we meet on the rooftop terrace of Hotel Perfect....these are the people I will be spending the next 22 days with.  There are eleven of us and our tour guide, Anjali who is from Delhi.  There are three from the U.K., one from New Zealand, two from Australia and five from Canada.
