It's definitely Fall!

The weather changes very quickly.  One minute it can be so warm you want to put your shorts on and then cool enough for my jacket.  We actually have roses budding in the garden.

But then Richard lit the first fire of the season that evening.  Made it so cozy!

Today was a splendid day.  Chris and Elizabeth asked if I'd like to go with them to a Chinese food buffet down by Cannes.  It was a lovely drive down and what a great buffet.  So much seafood!  Scallops, prawns, mussels, shrimp!  They also had Sushi, meat, salads, frogs legs, etc., etc.  It was delicious.  I'm on overload!

I wish I could have brought some back.  We took the coastal route on the way back.  It was so warm out that people were swimming in the sea and sunbathing on the beach.  One minute the water was still as glass and then you'd round the next bend and there were high winds with terrific waves.

There were so many people kite surfing that I wondered how they didn't run into each other.  There were also people just plain surfing.

So many boats...major money in these harbours.

And then back to Vence.  What a great day!
