We arrive in Honolulu and are transferred to the Ramada Waikiki by Robert’s Shuttle Service. The hotel is comfortable with a nice pool and walking distance to Waikiki Beach.

This huge complex is the Hilton. All towers are Hilton. It’s the Hawaiian Village.
We then walk to the Ala Moana Shopping Centre which has a huge number of high end stores. Marlene shopped for some cosmetics.
And then we took in a complimentary hula show at the shopping centre. This fellow was blowing the conch to start the show.
They really were quite good.
After leaving the mall we walk back to the beach where we find this food truck. Garlic shrimp and coconut shrimp. Delicious! Then back to the hotel for a dip in the pool. Met some interesting people. A woman from Edinburgh and a couple of women from New Zealand. Got some great tips for our New Zealand portion of the trip. Freshened up and then walked to Red Lobster for dinner. Early night as we’re off on the next leg of our adventure tomorrow. Flight to Auckland!
